NEWS

Hello, my good friends!

Before anything, thank you so much for the faves, critique and support you have given me so far! It feels great to be a part of such a nice community and surrounded by people so awesome like you.
And now... On to today's topic:

A thought that has been constantly crossing my mind lately, is how much everything in the universe is connected to everything else. Reviewing the events that took place in my life thus far, I noticed something rather curious... That every bit of suffering I've had to endure in the past, every failure and all the things I've been denied were quite possibly the best things that could have ever happened to me, exactly as they happened. Because of all these things I've been through, I am someone I love being. These allegedly bad things are the current source of my happiness and my main motivation to keep pushing forward and trying new things, just to see what will happen next! Why? Because once you see the bigger picture, you suddenly realise that everything was just laughable. Maybe some of it was tragic, yes, but if you just stop looking at that one thing and see the grandiosity of all there is, even the most tragic of moments can become something small. After all, there is the famous formula: Comedy = Tragedy + Time. And ain't it just the truth? Just take a look at human comedy and you will see that we are constantly making fun of the most tragic moments of our history!

But going back to what I was saying before, I would say faith plays a big role in how well we live our lives. And I don't mean faith in a divine entity or in yourself, I mean faith in All Possibility. Because if you reduce life to its most basic component, you are simply left with All Possibility. Everything that was, is and will be are contained within All Possibility. Look at yourself, your DNA. How many bodies like yours are there in the world? Even if you got a twin, I can guarantee that even though you share the exact same genetic material with your sibling, you have some expression of individuality, physical or otherwise, that set you apart! And this is only because you are yourself, one possibility within All Possibility. Which brings me to the message I am attempting to pass along with this journal:

Because everything in the whole wide universe - and everything beyond it or in between - are all connected as one and are all different expressions of All Possibility, this means we are all special in our own unique way. Problem is, people often times completely fail to see how awesome they really are. We keep importing our identities instead of exporting it. Who you are is within, not without. An example: Imagine a fish who sees a dog running around the lake where it lives. He sees a bunch of dogs now and keeps feeling bad about himself. He doesn't have legs to run and play around in the land, his lungs cannot breathe air. He is a failure in life because he will never be able to be a dog. The fish tries, he really tries to learn how to be a dog, but can he? No way! BUT.... Tell me, how many of those dogs can breathe underwater? How many of them can match that fish's speed while swimming? How many of them are sensitive to the point where they can feel the slightest change in pressure and movement in the water? NONE! And I am pretty sure one of those dogs look at a bird and feels terrible about himself  for not being able to fly, while another envies the dexterity of a spider in crafting its beautifully woven web. If only the hadn't been born with those cursed paws that are so good at digging holes or those extremely well developed senses of hearing and smell!

You see how ridiculous all of this is? So stop being ridiculous too. Stop wishing you were other people or letting other people tell you who you are and what you are good or bad at. Only you can decide that! Unless you decide you want those people to be right... But then that's your choice. So break the illusion and go do something for yourself instead of just doing what they tell is expected of you, who are they to know what is best for you? Only your heart knows that! If you play with your strengths, you will have a successful and fulfilling life! So go play, live life the way you want. Work time should be play time! In the sense that you should have as much fun with the kind of work you do as when you are playing. And this goes for people of all ages!

And most important of all: The only way to know you are doing something right is to listen to your heart. Your heart is a direct connection to All Possibility and it knows where every path will take you. The heart is fearless and brave, while the mind is an overthinking coward. So who would you rather be? A person of heart or a person of mind? Learn to listen to it, it knows all...

So, what is your take in all of this? Do you agree or have I totally missed the point and am just talking bollocks here?

Thank you for reading, guys! Good night and good luck!

*goes out to play*

I read your journal, where you talk about trying out a different, more realistic style of drawing. I am really curious to see where this goes.
Already enjoyed the first piece, can't wait to see more!

Ah, yes, the new "style" I've adapted is quite different from the one I previously used. My old style was cartoony, and I just didn't feel as accomplished. So, I decided to make a new account (This one) where I draw realistically (or at least what I'd consider realistic) and deactivate my old cartoony one.

Also, thanks! I look forward to posting more in the future ^o^
